About Us

Cass County Zero Suicide Taskforce

Started in 2016,  the Cass County Zero Suicide Taskforce’s goal is to eliminate suicide in our community by fostering hope, resilience, and connection. Located in Logansport, Indiana, our taskforce is a coalition of dedicated community members, mental health professionals, educators, law enforcement officials, healthcare providers, and advocates who are committed to addressing suicide prevention through collaboration and action.

Our Mission

To eliminate suicide and it’s impact through education and advocacy while instilling hope, strength, and human well-being.

What We Do

The Cass County Zero Suicide Taskforce works tirelessly to:

  • Raise Awareness: Educating the public about the signs of suicidal ideation, reducing stigma around mental health, and promoting open conversations about emotional well-being.

  • Advocate for Resources: Collaborating with local organizations and leaders to ensure access to mental health services and crisis support for all community members.

  • Support Survivors: Offering resources and outreach to individuals and families affected by suicide, fostering healing and hope.

  • Monitor Progress: Collecting data and analyzing outcomes to continuously improve and adapt our strategies for suicide prevention.
